Lavendon Group plc (the "Company") has been notified that on 2 July 2010, Alan Merrell sold 14,000 Ordinary Shares at 58.75p and subsequently acquired 14,000 Ordinary Shares at 59.10p, for the purposes of transferring part of his holding in the Company into a personal ISA.

His overall holding in the Company remains unchanged at 142,762 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.09% of the Company's share capital.
