Lavendon Group plc ("the Company")

Holding in Company

The Company was notified on 14 December by Artemis Investment Management Limited ("Artemis") that funds managed by Artemis were interested in 14,602,988 of the Company's ordinary shares of 1p each ("Ordinary Shares") which represented 8.97 per cent of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.

Subsequent to this, and also on 14 December, Artemis notified the Company that funds managed by Artemis are interested in 15,216,236 of the Company's ordinary shares of 1p each ("Ordinary Shares") which represents 9.34 per cent of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.
